In addition to Lavish's classics like "The Pigeon Has Feelings Too" (my little one's favorite), and "Leonardo, the Terrible Monster", we've just recently added new books to our collection that I'm sure will be on a lot of little ones favorite's list soon enough...
If you haven't seen "Duck! Rabbit!" It's a must for the slightly older reader (3 and up). The author learned of the Duck/Rabbit concept in college and has been obsessed with it ever since. A great book for demonstrating how two ideas while differing- can both be right.
"The Pigeon Wants a Puppy" a super cute, yet typical pigeon book. The pigeon wants what he wants, gets frustrated and changes his mind. You'll be laughing and thinking this sounds oddly familiar as you read it to your little one.
