September Wrap Up!
Friday, October 2, 2009
Yes I know September has come and gone, but I couldn't leave you guys without an update.
LAS VEGAS OR BUST
Earlier in the month I headed to Las Vegas for the Women’s trade shows featuring Spring Clothing and Accessories. This coming Spring is full of surprises! -new styles, bright colors, super casual cuts mixed with super feminine prints. It seems that the economy has pushed designers to work harder than ever.
Here's what I walked into on the first day...

Oh and the most exciting news from the trip is... were getting in ORLA KIELY CLOTHING!!!

Here's a tiny sneak peak of whats to come. Just walking into the Orla Kiely booth got me all giddy. Now if only they were serving Tomato Salad at the Orla Kiely booth I would be in my all time heaven. (see previous blog)
And a look at some cute pieces were getting in from Jenny Han...

Some great basics from LaMade to add to your spring wardrobe

And no, I didn't forget that we still need sweaters in San Francisco during the Spring.

It's funny how so many people don't realize that San Francisco doesn't hold up to the Sunny California reputation. I found myself assuring people that we sell a ton of sweaters during the Spring.
One last stop before I departed the city of Sparkle and tacky. ;) A drink with my girls from Manhattan Beach!! They happened to be in town for the show as well, so we got to meet up and have a little fun.

PARK (ING) DAY- SEPTEMBER 18th
PARK(ing) Day is a one-day, global event centered in San Francisco where artists, activists, and citizens collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into public parks. Hayes Valley was no exception.

Zonal down the street went full out. I didn't exactly get the memo till the day of so Lavish was park-less.
